MDR FF 2026 - Kids Only Canicross

This class is specifically for children under the age of 14 years (NO CHARGE TO ENTER). Note, that per MAHDS guidelines, Cani-Kids (U12) must be attached to an adult for the duration of the race and youth (U14) must be attached for at least 75% of the race. You can find the full guidelines here. Exemption requests must be made directly to MAHDS at maritimeharnessdog@gmail.com. 

Categories for this class include: 

• cani-kids (children under 12 years of age); and 
• youth (children under 14 years of age).

Please note, you are also welcome to enter your child in the regular sprint canicross class if that is your preference or where you believe you child will be most successful. This class exists simply to provide a kids-only option. 

The route for this class will be the same as the regular sprint course: approximately 900m crusher dust and hard-packed dirt trail crossing 2 wooden bridges with 1 downhill at the beginning and twists and turns throughout the wooded section.
