This Dallas-based race will be held on the Elm Fork of the Trinity River. You have a choice or the 12 mile course that begains at Hebron Parkway launch in Lewisville down stream to McInnish Park in Carrollton. Then an up and back for the remainder of the miles. For your second choice it will be a straight shot from the Hebron Parkway luanch to McInnish Park for a total of 6 miles.The two different milage classes will start at different times, but everyone will finish at the same location.
12 mile course will start at 9:00 AM and the 6 mile course will start at 9:30 AM, leading to more interaction between paddlers downstream and ending about the same time at the common finish line. Awards to the 1st place finishers of all the classes. Recognition given to age category winners.
Cost per paddler is $15 and registration is made online or in-person the morning of the race. Online liability waivers will be emailed to you.

Competitor: Trinity Fork Park (locally known as the Kayak Launch), will come down to McInnish park, make a bouy turn back upstream to the first bridge, where you can turn under the bridge and come back down to the bouy.12-mile Competitor - 9am Start

To save time on race morning, please fill out the online liability waiver (it will be emailed to you).
All paddlers must have in their possession during the event a Coast Guard approved PFD.
Bring your folding chairs for hanging out after the race.
Shuttles are not provided offically provided. But please reach out there are plenty of people and myself that can shuttle boats and persons. You will want to drop your car at the finish line, bring a friend to follow you down the river, or arrange/catch a ride back to the start with another paddler.
